This second methodology course shifts the focus from general EFL to English for Academic Purposes (EAP), asking how you actually prepare learners to read, write, and argue in an English-medium university setting. You'll work through the full design cycle, picking themes and texts, building instructional tasks, and writing assessments, anchored in frameworks like CBI, critical pedagogy, and the Toulmin model for argumentation. Most of the grade comes from a portfolio and three staged presentations, so the course functions as practical preparation for designing your own EAP curriculum, which is essentially the job description at any Turkish prep program or EMI department.
