CTIS 470 is essentially about writing one codebase that ships to Android, iOS, and the web, you learn Flutter and Dart from scratch and use them to build real UIs that handle state, navigation, forms, animations, and network calls. Most of the grade comes from two projects, so expect to spend the semester actually shipping apps rather than just reading about widget trees; the midterm and final mostly check that you understand what's happening under the hood. It builds naturally on your earlier mobile and web work and is the course where the "how do I actually deliver a product on multiple platforms without rewriting it three times" question gets answered, with Firebase and AWS coming in once your apps need a backend.

In order to qualify for the final exam, students should (i) attend at least 50% of the lectures AND (ii) collect at least 10 points from the midterm exam and the project (first increment, end product and demo).
