LNG 112 Spanish II

Building on LNG 111, this is the second step of beginner Spanish, pushing you from late A1 into early A2 of the CEFR, enough to handle everyday situations like renting a flat, describing a job, or recounting a past trip. Class time mixes the four skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing) with frequent low-stakes performance grades, a verbal presentation, quizzes, a midterm and a final, so consistency week-to-week matters more than cramming. You'll move past the pure present tense into things like ir + a + infinitive and the simple past, which sets you up for LNG 211 if you keep going, and satisfies the university's second-foreign-language requirement either way.
