The capstone where you stop solving textbook problems and prove you can run an open-ended engineering project end-to-end, from picking a real problem to delivering something that works. You spend the semester executing a design under a faculty advisor's supervision, with periodic progress reviews feeding into a final written report and presentation rather than exams or weekly assignments. It's the synthesis term for everything four years of EEE built up to, circuits, signals, control, electronics, computation, and the artifact you actually show employers or grad schools when they ask what you can build.
