The course aims to provide a platform for nurturing children's cognitive, emotional, and social development through engagement with topics in Life Studies, and Social Studies programs. The first part of the course focuses on Life Studies, and it is aligned with the overarching goals of the Life Studies program in the elementary education curriculum. Students gain effective teaching skills and strategies to implement and assess grade-level objectives related to various aspects of life including life at school and home, in nature, safe life, healthy life and life in our country. The second part of the course, which centers on Social Studies, is also in alignment with the elementary education curriculum. Students gain effective teaching skills and strategies to implement and assess grade-level objectives associated with various facets of society including individual ?amp; society, culture ?amp; heritage, civic competence, technology, and production ?amp; consumption.
